Rose R. Vipond
VIRGINIA BEACH - Rose Rebekah Vipond, 92, of the 3100 block of Shore Drive, died Sept. 18, 1995, in Virginia Beach.
She was born in Newport News and was a former member of The Christian Temple in Norfolk, a member of Bayside Presbyterian Church, The Olde Guarde at William and Mary, and a graduate of William and Mary in 1925.
Survivors include one brother, Milton R., and his wife, Virginia Vipond of Naples, Fla.; four nieces, Lynanne R. Gunn of Norfolk, Ellen R. Bell of Virginia Beach, Florence Vipond of Berea, Ohio, and Sydney Darr of Maitland, Fla.; six nephews, Linwood Robinson Jr. of Chesapeake, Miles Vipond of Virginia Beach, Dallas Vipond of Berea, Ohio, Leslie Vipond of Maryland, Joseph Vipond and Terry Vipond, both of Northern Virginia.
A graveside service will be conducted at 3 p.m. today in Forest Lawn Cemetery by Dr. Richard Keever. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, is in charge.
