LEROY J. BELL

Leroy James Bell, of the 1600 block of Cardigan St., died Sept. 20, 1995, in Chesapeake General Hospital.

Mr. Bell retired from Norfolk Western Rail Road in 1971 after 35 years of service. He was born in Moyock, N.C., and was a member of Providence Masonic Lodge (NU)189.

Survivors include his wife, Maggie Bell; one daughter, Erma B. Fields of Hyattsville, Md.; one son, Walter Bright of Norfolk; one brother, Randolph M. Bell of Moyock; one grandchild; two great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

The funeral will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in First Baptist Church, Westmunden, by the Rev. Dr. John Ashby. Burial will be in the family cemetery in Moyock. Fitchett Funeral Home in charge.
