VIRGIE B. WADE

Virgie Bradshaw Wade, 91, a resident of Franklin, died on Thursday, Sept. 21, 1995, at East Pavilion in Franklin.

Mrs. Wade was born in Southampton County and was a member of Black Creek Baptist Church in Franklin. She was the widow of Linwood L. Wade and she was predeceased by her son, Junius L. Wade.

She is survived by three daughters, Louise W. Story of Suffolk, Eunice W. Sorrell of Chesapeake and Virginia W. Roughton of Franklin; five sisters, Gladys B. Holt, Catherine B. Lowe, both of Ivor, Viola B. Clark, Mary B. Parker and Doris B. Stephenson, all of Franklin; a brother, August Bradshaw of Franklin; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Graveside funeral services will be held at Black Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Franklin on Saturday, Sept. 23, 1995, at 10:30 a.m. by the Rev. Wayne Underwood. The family will receive friends todayat Purviance Funeral Home in Wakefield from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Black Creek Baptist Church, 34163 Vicksville Road, Franklin, Va. 23851.
