ROSE R. VIPOND

Rose Rebekah Vipond, 92, of the 3100 block of Shore Drive, died Sept. 18, 1995, in Virginia Beach.

She was born in Newport News and was a former member of The Christian Temple in Norfolk, a member of Bayside Presbyterian Church, The Olde Guarde at William and Mary, and a graduate of William and Mary in 1925. She was retired from working as an assistant director of personnel at the Atlantic Division Naval Facilities Engineering Command.

Survivors include one brother, Milton R., and his wife, Virginia Vipond of Naples, Fla.; four nieces, Lynanne R. Guynn of Norfolk, Ellen R. Bell of Virginia Beach, Florence Vipond of Berea, Ohio, and Sydney Darr of Maitland, Fla.; six nephews, Linwood Robinson Jr. of Chesapeake, Miles Vipond of Virginia Beach, Dallas Vipond of Berea, Ohio, Leslie Vipond of Maryland, Joseph Vipond and Terry Vipond, both of Northern Virginia.

Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, is in charge.
