Josephine L. LaPorte, 69, of the 4200 block of Buttonwood Court died Sept. 21, 1995, in Virginia Beach.
She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and was the widow of Michael P. LaPorte. She was a member of Saint Gregory The Great Catholic Church, Virginia Beach.
She is survived by two sons, Michael P. LaPorte Jr. of Brooklyn, and Gerard J. LaPorte of Virginia Beach; one sister, Eleanor Monjardo of Brooklyn; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, Virginia Beach, today and Saturday from 2 to 5 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m.
