Rebecca Fletcher Gatlin, of the 5500 block of Daniel Smith Road, died Sept. 20, 1995, in her home.
She was a member of New St. John A.M.E. Church, Virginia Beach. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Mildred E. Murell.
She is survived by one sister, Thelma Jefferson of Virginia Beach; two grandchildren, James Murell of Palm Bay, Fla., and Deborah Murell-Cephus of Virginia Beach; seven great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held noon Saturday by the Rev. E.H. Terrell in New St. John A.M.E. Church. Burial is in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Community Funeral Home, Norfolk, is handling arrangements.
