Linda Marie Whitfield, 45, of the 3300 block of Greenwood Drive, died Sept. 20, 1995, in Maryview Medical Center.
Mrs. Whitfield, former member of Speller Chapel Holiness Church, Colerain, N.C., was born in Suffolk.
Survivors include her husband, Willie J. Whitfield; two daughters, Katesha Whitfield and Tanesha Whitfield-Nur, both of Portsmouth; one son, Kelvey Sutton of Chesapeake; her mother, Katie Sutton of Chesapeake; one sister, Vanessa Spivey of Portsmouth; four brothers, Harold Sutton, Walter Bailey, Milton Bailey, all of Chesapeake, and Charles Bailey of Brooklyn, N.Y.; two grandchildren, Tanaja Whitfield and Savon Nur; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends.
The funeral will be conducted at noon Sunday in Corprew Funeral Home Chapel, Portsmouth, by the Rev. F.R. Williams. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery, Portsmouth. Viewing at the funeral home will begin at 5 p.m. today.
