Martha Newsome Railey, 75, a resident of Heritage Hall Nursing Home, died on Monday, Sept. 18, 1995, in her residence.
Mrs. Railey was born on Feb. 12, 1920, in Ahoskie, N.C. She was the daughter of John C. Newsome and Celia Ann Taylor Newsome. Mrs. Railey was a 58-year resident of Como, N.C. She had only moved to Leesburg one week ago to be near her daughter.
She is survived by her daughter, Connie R. Taylor of Reston, Va.; a brother, Steve T. Cartwright of Mechanicsville, Va.; two sisters, Alice N. Picot of Frankin, Va., and Jackie C. Smith of Norfolk.
Arrangements handled by the Loudoun Funeral Chapel, Leesburg. Suggested charities may be made to the Como Volunteer Squad, Como, N.C.
