Armed robbery, Cedar Road and Mann Drive. The victim was walking down Cedar Road when she was approached by a suspect who put a small silver automatic handgun to her head and demanded her purse. Description of suspect: black male, 5-feet-7-inches, 145 pounds, wore a red shirt. Sept. 3.

Residential burglary, 200 block of Wilson Drive. Missing: expensive jewelry. Sept. 3.

Residential burglary, 200 block of Ewell Lane. Missing: two cartons of cigarettes and two bottles of alcohol. Sept. 3.

Armed robbery, Liberty and Commerce streets. The victim was at a car wash vacuuming the inside of his vehicle. A suspect, armed with a .38 caliber revolver, demanded the victim's wallet. Description of suspect: 5-feet-8-inches, 195 pounds, wore a blue windbreaker and a multicolored shirt and a baseball cap. Sept. 10.

Residential burglary, 2000 block of Cara St. Missing: Microwave, television, videocassette recorder and a telephone. Sept. 9 or 10.

Armed robbery, Campostella and Portlock roads. One victim fled when the suspect approached. The suspect struck the victim in the face with a revolver, took his cash and car keys. Description of suspect: black male, 6-feet-1-inch, heavy build, wore red/white short sleeve shirt with khaki pants and short dread locks. Sept. 4.

Armed robbery, Outlaw and Lincoln streets. The victim was using a public telephone when what felt like a handgun was pressed against his back. The suspect demanded money. A second suspect searched the victim's vehicle. Description of suspect: No. 1, black male, 5-feet-11-inches, medium build, wore light blue jeans, a dark T-shirt and a baseball cap. No. 2, black male, 24, 5-feet-5-inches, large build, wore khaki pants with a green T-shirt and a baseball cap. Sept. 12.

Armed robbery, 1900 block of S. Military Highway. As the victim walked out of the store, the suspect approached and offered to sell jewelry from the back of a moving van. Then the suspect told the victim to lie on the ground or be killed. Description of suspect: light-skinned black male, 6-feet-1-inch, 170 pounds, wore a white T-shirt, black shorts and dark curly hair. Sept. 4.

Armed robbery, 3300 block of Western Branch Blvd. The victim had returned from delivering pizza when the suspect, armed with a .32 caliber handgun, demanded money. Description of suspect: No. 1, black male, 6-feet, medium build, wore a red shirt with dark jeans and a black ski hat. No. 2, black male. Sept. 10.

Attempted armed robbery, 4200 block of Portsmouth Blvd. The victim had just entered his car when a black male opened the vehicle door, put a revolver to the victim's head and demanded money. The victim got away. Sept. 1.
