LINDA W. LILLEY

Mrs. Linda Wood Lilley, 43, of Route 2, died Friday, Sept. 22, 1995, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.

She was a native of Ft. Worth, Texas, and a former employee at the Duck-N II. She attended the Grandy Assembly of God. She was the daughter of Charles Allen Wood of Azle, Texas, and the late Elizabeth Ann Looney Wood, and the wife of Ronnie Lilley Sr. of Shawboro.

Besides her husband and father, Mrs. Lilley is survived by two sons, Ronnie Lilley Jr. and Daniel Nathan Lilley; and a daughter, Christine Elaine Lilley, all of Shawboro; four sisters, Cathie Hess of Paradise, Texas, Cindy Quin of Lufkin, Texas, Marvitta Adams of Ft. Worth, and Nancy Lilley of Norfolk; one brother, Chuck Wood of Arlington, Texas; and her paternal grandmother, Viola Kempe of Azel.

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in the Grandy Assembly of God Church, Grandy, by the Rev. Doug Harn. Burial will follow in the Laurel Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Poplar Branch, N.C. The body will be taken from Twiford's Memorial Chapel, Elizabeth City, to the church at 1 p.m. Monday. The family will receive friends and relatives at Twiford's Memorial Chapel from 3 to 5:30 p.m. today and at other times at their residence.
