Ethel Whedbee Gray, 85, of the 400 block of 21st St., a homemaker, died Sunday, Sept. 24, 1995, in Virginia Beach General Hospital.
Mrs. Gray was born in Buxton, N.C., and was the widow of Hilton D. Gray. She was a member of Virginia Beach United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a son, H. Davis Gray Jr.; three grandchildren, Davey, Scott and Kelly Gray; three great-grandchildren, Tyler, Cody and Tara Gray; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Virginia Beach United Methodist Church by the Rev. Paul Bailey. Burial will be in Rosewood Memorial Park. The family will be at Kellum Funeral Home, Bonney Road Chapel, from 7 to 8 p.m. today. Memorials may be made to the Virginia Beach United Methodist Church, 19th and Pacific Ave., 23451.
