Frederick Edison Hodges, 88, of the 200 block of D Street, died Sept. 24, 1995, in Norfolk.
Mr. Hodges was retired from the Norfolk Naval Base and was former owner of Freddies Grill. He was a native of South Norfolk, Va.
He is survived by his wife, Nell Mae Hodges; two daughters, Mrs. Diana Boatwright and Mrs. Sandra Sherbert, both of Chesapeake; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Mr. Hodges was predeceased by a daughter, Mrs. Fredia Gladding.
A funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday by the Rev. Willis Dowling in Francis A. Gay Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel, Chesapeake. Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Park, Norfolk. The family will be at the funeral home today from 7 to 8 p.m.
