Barbara Jo Livingston, 60, of 1132 Five Point Road, died Monday, Sept. 25, 1995, in a Norfolk hospital.
She was a native of Jonesborough, Tenn. She resided in Virginia Beach and then in Townsend on the Eastern Shore. She retired after 15 years as a toll collector on the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel, and then was a caretaker for the elderly on the Eastern Shore. She then lived with her sister in Virginia Beach, and was a member of Oceana Church of Christ.
She is survived by her mother, Ethel Walker Livingston of Marshall, N.C.; two daughters, Teresa Pate of Nashville and Selena Cutting of Kilmarnock, Va.; two sons, Ed Jay Thomason of Nashville and Randall Thomason of Dallas, Texas; one sister, Thelma Thrash of Virginia Beach; 10 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; two nieces, and two nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted Thursday, Sept. 28, 1995, at 2 p.m. in Rosewood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends in the Maestas Funeral Home, Baltic Ave. Chapel, Wednesday from 7 until 8:30 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 230 Ellsmere Ave., Norfolk, 23513.
