Lois Brinkley Sanderlin, 90, of the 300 block of Cameron St., died Sept. 25, 1995, in Nags Head.
She was a native of Portsmouth and was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Mae Seaborn Brinkley; and her husband, Ben. G. Sanderlin Sr. Mrs. Sanderlin was a member of Pinecrest Baptist Church, Portsmouth, and the Tidal Wave Chapter (NU)9, Order of Eastern Star.
She is survived by one son, Ben, and his wife, Evelyn Sanderlin Jr. of Kill Devil Hills; grandchildren, Ben and his wife, Terri Sanderlin III of Windsor, Va., Cheryl Sanderlin of Portsmouth, Karen and her husband, Curtis Dodd, of Portsmouth, and Kim and her husband, Bobby Lauterbach, of Chesapeake; and three great-grandchildren Christy Hamlet, Kelly Dodd, and Stephanie Lauterbach.
A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday in Olive Branch Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, this evening from 7 to 8 p.m. and at other times at 210 Edgewood Road, Portsmouth.
