William Mallory, 89, of the 500 block of Mount Vernon Ave., died Sept. 24, 1995, in Maryview Hospital.
He was an electrician until he retired after 40 years. He was a native of Chicago and was a member of Olive Branch Church, Portsmouth. Mr. Mallory was a World War II veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Laura F. Mallory; and many relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday by the Rev. J.B. Sharp in Corprew Funeral Home, Portsmouth. The body will be cremated. Viewing at the funeral home will begin at 4 p.m. today.
