John Wesley Nash Jr., 68, died Sept. 24, 1995, in his residence.
Mr. Nash was born in Bunkie, La., and was a retired crane operator for Norshipco. He was a member of Azalea Garden Church of God. He was a Navy veteran of Korea.
Survivors include his wife, Willie V. Nash of Chesapeake; two daughters, Charlotte Ann and her husband, Ed Epperly of Suffolk, and Melissa Nash and her husband, Michael Bunch of Gates, N.C.; three sons, Dennis R. Nash of Old Town, Fla., Charles ``Bubba'' Nash and Jon Kevin Nash, both of Franklin, Va.; two stepsons, Ricky Parsons and Donald R. Parsons, both of Chesapeake; one brother, Oakland Nash of Eugene, Oregon; and 10 grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Tom Grinder in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel. Burial will be in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Azalea Garden Church of God, 5160 Beamon Road, Norfolk, Va. 23513.
