``Mail for Our Military'' is a program developed to send cards and letters to personnel in more than 1,000 locations across the United States and around the world.
Those who sent the most mail from the Suffolk area for the 1994-95 program are: Southwestern Elementary School, first-place elementary school in Virginia and second place nationally; Booker T. Washington Elementary; Bethlehem Christian Church, first-place church in Virginia and third place nationally; Evelyne Graham, first-place individual in Virginia; and Cindy Holland, second-place individual in Virginia. Participants from other local areas are Monica Olson of Windsor and Beatrice Brock and friends of Zuni.
