Robert Crockett Beshears, 73, died Monday, Sept. 25, 1995, in a Norfolk hospital.
He was a retired aircraft mechanic at the Naval Air Rework Facility at the Norfolk Naval Air Station. He was born in Norfolk and was a member of Central Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Ruby Davis Beshears; a daughter, Stephanie B. Pennello of Alexandria, Va.; a son, R. Darryl Beshears of Chesapeake; three sisters, Ruth N. Brown of Indian Harbor Beach, Fla., Myrtle Howard and Marjorie Evans, both of Virginia Beach; five grandchildren, Bryan and Meighan Beshears and Gregg, Chad, and Ryan Guilfoy, all of Chesapeake.
A chapel funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Cox Funeral Home by the Rev. Melvin J. Hughes. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to the Central Baptist Church Building Fund, 701 W. Olney Road, Norfolk 23507.
