JOSE' A. FERNANDEZ JR.

Jose' A. Fernandez Jr. died Sept. 26, 1995, in a local hospital.

Mr. Fernandez was born in Manila, Phillipines on July 5, 1935. He was an active member of the Masons, Fleet Reserve, Hiram, American Phillipino Club, VFW, and the American Legion. He retired from the U.S. Navy after 22 years of service and retired from the Chrysler Museum after 20 years.

Survivors include his wife, Joyce Fernandez; two daughters, Sheila Foster, Kimie Porter; one son, Carlos Fernandez; four grandchildren, Boe Foster, Carlos Fernandez II, Amy Fernandez, and Arriola Fernandez; four brothers, Cardin, Frankie, Tony and Robert Fernandez; three sisters, Maja Francisco, Pilar Smith, and Mary Lou Fernandez.

A memorial service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Friday in Christ the King Catholic Church by Father Joseph Lehman with a reception following at the church. Colonial Crematorium provided obituary information.
