Della Mae Greenfield, 77, of the 5900 block of Hazelcroft Drive, died Monday Sept. 25, 1995, in Maryview Hospital.
Mrs. Greenfield, the wife of the late Albert E. Greenfield, was the daughter of the late Jessie and Katherine Edge Long. She was a retired waitress for Holiday Inn, and a member of New Temple Grove Ministries.
Survivors include two daughters, Julie M. Wells of Trussville, Ala., and Ceglenda Day of Graham, Ala.; three sisters, Florence Gene of Holiday, Fla., Ethel Eure of Rocky Mount, N.C., and Frances Jones of Danville, Va.; three grandchildren, Donna Riley and Angie Riley of Birmingham, Ala., and Angelie Love Day of Graham; and two great-grandchildren, Emily Riley and Stephanie Riley of Birmingham.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in New Temple Grove Ministries Church, 3972 S. Military Hwy., Chesapeake, by the Rev. Johnnie McDonald. Burial will follow in Olive Branch Cemetery, Portsmouth. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today in Twiford Colonial Chapel, Great Bridge, Chesapeake.
