CRANBERRIES WORK IN MORE THAN JUST SAUCE

CRANBERRIES AREN'T just for turkey dinners anymore. This fall fruit is cropping up everywhere and in many forms.

Cranberry Newtons and breakfast cereal with dried cranberries have been around for a while. Now, there's cranberry Jell-O, Thomas' English Muffins With Dried Cranberries and Comstock is introducing a line of Cranberry Classics pie fillings. Cranberry Classics include cranberry-apple, cranberry-blueberry and cherry-cranberry flavors.

Another sign cranberries are going mainstream is the availability of the dried fruit. Once a specialty item sold only in gourmet markets, dried cranberries are on the shelves in warehouse and discount stores. Try them in muffins, biscuits, cookies, trail mixes and salads.
