Charles E. Patillo, 77, of the 3800 block of Chatam Circle, died Sept. 26, 1995, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
He was a retired orthopedic technician at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. He was born in LaCrosse, Va., to the late Willie Lee and Martha Patillo. Mr. Patillo was a member of Bibleway Holiness Church and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Barbara Patillo of the home; six daughters, Ericka Patillo, Brenda Banks, Barbara Vance, Jean Marion, Martha Patillo, and Priscilla Machlin; one son, Wilbur Patillo; two sisters, Melvinna Kenion, and Rebecca Landors; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be conducted 1 p.m. Saturday by the Bishop William Faison in Bibleway Holiness Church. Burial is in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Viewing will be held Friday from 2 to 8 p.m. The family will receive friends at Riddick Funeral Home from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday.
