Rosetta Earl, of the 2500 block of Tidewater Drive, died Sept. 25, 1995, in a local hospital.
She was retired and was a native of Norfolk. Mrs. Earl was a member of Bethany Baptist Church where she was a Deaconess.
Mrs. Earl is survived by her husband, Harve Earl; four daughters, Kim Williams of Norfolk, Charlene Wilson of Albany, N.Y., Sandra Carter and Robnett McCullan, both of Columbus, Ohio; two sons, Christopher Earl of Norfolk, and Leroy Riddick of Kappa, Hawaii; three sisters, Leola Dyson of Norfolk, Grace Shephard of Richmond, and Robnett Johnson of Benicia, Calif.; one brother, Everett Payton of Norfolk; eleven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and one godchild, Brittany Ford of Norfolk.
A funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday by the Rev. Jake Manley in Bethany Baptist Church. Burial is in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The remains will be placed in church 9:30 a.m. Saturday. There will be a wake service on Friday from 6 until 7 p.m. Friends may join the family at the residence. Graves Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
