Helen Mae Tabit Taylor, 84, died Sept. 27, 1995.
She was a native and lifelong resident of Norfolk and worked as a homemaker. Mrs. Taylor was the widow of Billie A. Taylor and was one of the oldest members of First Presbyterian Church of Norfolk. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Mark.
She is survived by one daughter, Corinne C. and her husband, Charles G. Harrison Sr. of Norfolk; three sons, Billie J. Taylor and his wife, Sue D. of Norfolk, Charles F. Taylor and his wife, Natalie A. of Norfolk, and Richard P. Taylor of Norfolk; sister, Norma Demmin of Norfolk; brother, Leslie Tabit of Norfolk; 11 grandchildren, Christie, Chuck, Kathy, Kelly, Mathew, Christopher, Jeffrey, Adrian, Noah, Seth, and Rachel; eight great-grandchildren, Jeremy, Justin, Nathan, Timothy, William, Amanda, George, and Billy.
A funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday by the Rev. Chuck Harrison Jr. in Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel. Burial is in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 8 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
