Patrick Harrell, 76, of the 5000 block of Booker St., died Sept. 27, 1995.
Mr. Harrell, a retired longshoreman, worked for ILA. He was born in Timmonsville, S.C., and was a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church, Norfolk, where he was an usher and deacon. He was a member of ILA Local 1248.
Survivors include his wife, Florence Harrell; three daughters, Marilyn Dixon and Jean Beckett both of Virginia Beach, and Etta Saunders of Chesapeake; one brother, Elder Randoulph C. Harrell of Timmonsville; three grandchildren, Second Lt. Vernon Saunders III of Alexander, Va., Robin Saunders of Virginia Beach and Dwayne Saunders of Chesapeake; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
The funeral will be conducted at 11:30 p.m. Monday in Woodlawn Baptist Church by the Rev. White. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home in charge.
