Alean C. Sansbury, of the 2100 block of Ballentine Blvd., died Sept. 26, 1995, in a local hospital.
Mrs. Sansbury, a nurses aide, worked with Family Care. She was previously employed at General Electric for 20 years. She was born in Lamar, S.C.
Survivors include her husband, Clarence Sansbury; one daughter, Tammy Y. Sansbury of Richmond, Va.; four sons, Clarence Sansbury Jr. and Keith Sansbury, both of Norfolk, Darryl Sansbury and Leander Sansbury, both of Virginia Beach; her mother, Edith B. Josey; one sister, Helen McLaughlin of Brooklyn, N.Y.; four brothers, Truman Josey and Willie Josey, both of South Carolina, Laverne Josey of California, and Robin Josey of New Jersey; and six grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Monday in Greater Metropolitan AMEZ Church, by the Rev. Thomas Tucker. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. There will be a wake service from 6 to 7 p.m. Sunday. Friends may join the family at the residence. The body will be taken to the church at 10 a.m. Graves Funeral Home in charge.
