A 23-year-old man was found shot to death in the Campostella section of the city Friday afternoon.
Police were called to the 1400 block of Melon St. about 5:30 p.m. after a report of shots being fired in the area. They found the victim lying on the ground.
The man, whose name was not released, was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
Investigators were still interviewing potential witnesses late Friday, and no other details were available.
