LOOKING FOR A SUSPECT

Police said Friday they are looking for a teenager they believe shot and killed a 20-year-old man last May in the Manor View Apartments.

Corey McKinley Jackson, 18, whose last known address was in the 900 block of Chumley Road in Portsmouth, is being sought on charges of capital murder, attempted robbery, and two weapons violations.

Jackson is described as being 5 feet 7 inches tall and 160 pounds. He wore a mustache and had a gold upper tooth.

Police suspect Jackson in the murder of Craig M. Robertson on May 24.

Robertson was found in the hallway of a residence in the 900 block of Chumley Road with a gunshot wound to the chest. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities consider Jackson to be armed and extremely dangerous. Anyone with information on Jackson is asked to call 393-8536 or Crime Line at 488-7777. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
