Ruth Kern Wieben, 69, of the 3200 block of Kayson St., died Sept. 26, 1995, as the result of an automobile accident.
Mrs. Wieben was the daughter of the late Harry Frank and Mrs. Lucy Lee Morgan Kern. She was a retired teacher of special education in the Montgomery County public school system. She was a member of Glenmont United Methodist Church and the American Association of University Women. She was the former wife of the late Edward E. Wieben Sr.
Surviving are three sons, Edward E. Wieben Jr. of Goshen, N.Y., Harry Kern Wieben and John Paul Wieben, both of Wheaton; and five grandchildren, Christine, Megan, Tamara Ann, Daniel and Kristopher.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Parker's United Methodist Church Cemetery, Corapeake, N.C. Miller Funeral Home, Gatesville, N.C., is handling arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the NC Special Olympics, 508 E. Main St., Elizabeth City, N.C. 27909.
