Eston Earle Futrell Sr., 72, of Route 2, died Sept. 30, 1995, in Roanoke Chowan Hospital, Ahoskie, N.C.
Mr. Futrell, a retired farmer, was born in Northampton County, N.C. He was a member of Ashley's Grove Baptist Church, D.A.V., and Woodmen of the World. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Louise Hales Futrell; one daughter, Judy Burch of Suffolk; one son, Eston Earle Futrell Jr. of Winton, N.C.; one sister, Ola Warren of Murfreesboro; one brother, Franklin Futrell of Conway, N.C.; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in Ashley's Grove Baptist Church by the Rev. David Ross and the Rev. John Oliver. Burial will be in the Futrell Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends at home. Garrett Funeral Home, Murfreesboro, in charge.
