While we are enjoying the beautiful new tiger exhibit at the Virginia Zoo, we must keep in mind this heartbreaking fact: These spectacular animals, along with countless others, are in grave danger of vanishing from Earth forever. This means that our grandchildren will most likely never observe them in the wild due to the greed, arrogance and selfishness of mankind.
