George Upton Beaumont, 65, of the 2800 block of Shiflett Court, died Sept. 29, 1995, in Norfolk.
Mr. Beaumont was born in Bridgeport, Conn., and was a police officer with the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel for more than 25 years. He was a member of St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church and was a naval veteran of the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife, Michelina ``Marge'' Beaumont; a daughter and son-in-law, JoAnne McLeod and Robert of Trumbull, Conn.; a son and daughter-in-law, James Teachman and Missy of Chesapeake; a brother, Walter Beaumont of Bridgeport, Conn.; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel, by Fr. Anselm Ober. Burial will be private. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. today.
