CECIL A. OLIVER

Cecil A. Oliver, 69, of the 5600 block of Anthony Road, a retired electrician, died Sept. 30, 1995, in a local hospital.

Mr. Oliver was born in Haines City, Fla., and was retired from Electric Motor Contracting Co. He was a member of Norview Baptist Church, Disciples Sunday School Class, IBEW Local (NU)80, and was a Ham Operator (N4AQQ). He was a Navy veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Marjorie A. Oliver; two sons, Thomas B. Carpenter of Virginia Beach and Jack E. Oliver of Chesapeake; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Norview Baptist Church by Dr. James A. Bradshaw. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today.
