THELMA D. THOMAS

Thelma Davis Thomas, 92, of 2250 Princess Anne Road, died Monday, October 2, 1995, in Virginia Beach General Hospital.

A native of Charlottesville, she was the loving wife of the late John L. Thomas, and retired in 1976, after 20 years as a creeler with the Frank Ix & Sons Silk Mill in Charlottesville. She was a member of the Alberene Baptist Church in Alberene, Va.

She is survived by one sister, Oberta D. Jurgensen of Virginia Beach; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be conducted tonight at 7 p.m. in the Maestas Funeral Home, Baltic Avenue Chapel, by the Rev. Mrs. Sandy Benton. A graveside service will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Monticello Memorial Gardens in Charlottesville by the Rev. Mrs. Sandy Benton. Memorial donations may be made to the Beech Grove United Methodist Church, West Neck Road, Virginia Beach, 23456.
