Ted E. Bridgman, 64, of the 2100 block of Weber Ave., died Oct. 2, 1995, in Norfolk.
He was retired from the U.S. Navy and was a retired Longshoreman with Local 970. He was a native of Landrum, S.C.
He is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Terry L. and Donn Williams of Chesapeake, Teresa B. and Fred Giles of Dallas, Texas, and Kimberly A. Bridgman of Houston, Texas; one son, Ted R. Bridgman of Houston, Texas; parents, Ted R. and Louise Bridgman of Landrum, S.C.; three sisters, Dale Brady and June Rhymer of Landrum, S.C., and Mildred Fowler of Rockhill, S.C.; five grandchildren, Kristopher, Teddy, Jordan, Lisa and Kevin. He was preceded in death by his brother, Bobby Bridgman.
A graveside service will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday by Dr. Paul Lawson in Colonial Grove Memorial Park with Military Honors. The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home today from 7 to 8 p.m. and at other times at the residence of the daughter. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
