Eunice E. Williams, 78, of the 2500 block of Staunton Ave., died Oct. 1, 1995, in Beverly Manor of Portsmouth.
Mrs. Williams was born in Portsmouth and was the widow of Joseph M. Williams. She was a member, missionary and deaconess of Mount Olive Church of Christ Holiness.
Survivors include a son, Michael A. Williams Sr. of Portsmouth; one sister, Kate E. Turner of Portsmouth; two brothers, Bishop Joseph Ely Jr. of Boston, Mass., and James P. Ely Sr. of Portsmouth; three grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Patricia A. Williams; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends.
A funeral service will be conducted Thursday at 1 p.m. by Bishop Joseph Ely Jr. in Mount Olive Church of Christ Holiness. Burial will be in Lincoln Memorial Cemetery, Portsmouth. Corprew Funeral Home, Portsmouth, in charge. Viewing at the funeral home will begin at noon Wednesday. The body will be taken to the church at noon Thursday.
