Julie Pouliot eats barbecue only once a year. That day is almost here.
Saturday she's going to ``pig out'' on Frank Malbon's barbecued pork and Frank Craft's ``mouth watering'' homemade hush puppies at the annual Pig and Oyster Roast to benefit the Life-Saving Museum.
Pouliot, author, longtime museum staffer and one of the many people who works hard on this fall fund-raiser held on the patio at the Fort Story Club, will be joined by a lot of others Saturday.
It's a popular stop for politicians stumping the Virginia coast, museum supporters and those who just love the barbecue, oysters and the outdoor scene overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and Chesapeake Bay.
P.S. If you want to pig out with Julie and the gang, call the museum for a ticket.

Nickname: Toots.
Marital status: Happily married for 28 years.

Secret vice: I still crank up the volume on the stereo headset and listen to Led Zeppelin.
If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be? I want legs 6 inches longer than ``short.''
If you could change one thing about your spouse, what would it be? You want me to tell an ex-Navy SEAL I want him to change? I'm not that crazy.
Favorite restaurant: The Raven, Anchor Inn, The Reef, Tracy's.
Your favorite night on the town: Dinner at one of the above, an ``edge of the seat'' movie and home early.
Favorite TV shows: ``Mad About You,'' anything on Home and Garden network, ``Sherlock Holmes'' on Arts and Entertainment network.
Favorite sport: My husband.
Last vacation: Drove to New Hampshire with five of us in a Volvo sedan. Yes, we're still on speaking terms.

Worst job: Working in a tomb-like atmosphere of the trust department of a bank.
Of what achievements are you most proud? My wonderful family, co-authoring ``Shipwrecks on the Virginia Coast'' with Richard, working for 13 great years with the Life-Saving Museum and staying married for 28 years to the same man.
