RUTH M. MCGRAW

Ruth Morgan McGraw, 78, of 1789 Indian River Road, Pungo, died Monday, Oct. 2, 1995, in her residence.

A native of Marion, S.C., she was the widow of Frank M. McGraw. She retired as a cook with Mary's Country Kitchen at the beach in 1980, after 28 years, and was a charter member of Beachlawn Baptist Church.

She is survived by two sons, Jerry E. McGraw of Tucson, Ariz., and H. Wayne McGraw of Pungo; two sisters, Bernice West and Rose Pallette, both of Virginia Beach; three grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in Willowood Cemetery, Sandbridge Road, by the Rev. Richard J. Yates. The family will receive friends in the Maestas Funeral Home, Baltic Avenue Chapel, tonight from 7 to 8 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Virginia Beach Rescue Squad Building Fund, P.O. Box 945, Virginia Beach, 23451. The family will be at 907 Virginia Ave. at the beach.
