Howard Werbel, of Rockville, died on Oct. 2, 1995. Mr. Werbel was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Ethel Werbel.
His survivors include a daughter, Joan Shapiro of Syracuse, N.Y.; three sons, Sam Werbel of Norfolk, Va., Jerry Werbel of Annandale, Va., and Steven Werbel of Merrick, N.Y. Mr. Werbel is also survived by 14 grandchildren, including the children of Sam and Beverly Werbel: Scott, Evan, Hallie and Jill; and 12 great-grandchildren.
The funeral services will be held on Thursday, Oct. 5, 1995, at 1 p.m. at Congregation Olam Tikvah, Annandale. The observance of shiva through Sunday will be at the home of Jerry and Judy Werbel in Annandale.
