Anthony ``Tony'' Cataldo, 78, a retired chef, of the 2300 block of Whisper Circle, died Oct. 2, 1995, in Virginia Beach General Hospital.
Mr. Cataldo was born in Italy and was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. He was a member of New York Hotel/Motel Trade Council and was a World War II veteran of the Italian Army.
He is survived by his wife, Luigia Chessari Cataldo of Virginia Beach; one daughter, Margaret Cataldo McCoy of Virginia Beach; two sisters, Maria and Giovanna Cataldo of Italy; one brother, Luigi Cataldo of New York; and three grandchildren, Burt McCoy of New York, Gina McCoy of Virginia Beach, and David McCoy of Virginia Beach.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. in Holy Family Catholic Church with Father Mooney presiding. Burial in Princess Anne Memorial Park. Altmeyer Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
