Fred Peguese, 76, of the 6400 block of Whittier Drive, died Oct. 2, 1995, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
Mr. Peguese, a retired truck driver for Eddides Exxon, was born in Maxton, N.C.
Survivors include a special friend, Willie Mae Jackson; five sons, Fred Peguese, Carl Peguese, Alonza Peguese, Clinton Peguese and Gerald Peguese; two daughters, Ruby Soloman and Joyce Grimes; one brother, James Walter Peguese; and his ex-wife, Irene Morring. He was predeceased by his parents, Hattie and Lonsa Peguese.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in Riddick Funeral Chapel, by the Rev. Frank Anderson. Burial will be in McLeod Memorial Cemetery, Maxton. Viewing will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. The remains will be sent from Riddick Funeral Service to Baker Funeral Home in Maxton for burial. The family will be at 720 Denison Ave.
