CRIME REPORT - SUFFOLK

DISTRICT A

Breaking and entering, 6100 block Hunters Court, Sept. 19, someone entered a back yard and pried open a shed removing one lawnmower, one weedeater, and several cases of Coke.

DISTRICT C

Breaking and entering, 500 block West Washington St., Sept. 17, someone entered a residence and removed a 13-inch Zenith color TV valued at $170.

Breaking and entering, 1600 block Pitchkettle Road, Sept. 18, someone gained entry to a business by raising an unlocked window. Once inside the building, a Mossberg 20 gauge bolt action shotgun, a Browning Citori over-and-under 12 gauge shotgun with English stock, a Winchester 16 gauge single-barrel shotgun with exposed hammer, one Hitachi cordless driver drill, two Panasonic cordless drills, and one Porter cable 12-volt cordless drill were removed.

DISTRICT D

Motor vehicle theft, 100 block Capitol St., a blue, 2-door, '90 Ford Probe was removed without permission. The vehicle was left unsecured with the keys in the ignition.

Breaking and entering, 200 block Cedar St., Sept. 17, someone gained entry to a shed by removing a section of the rear wall. A red BMX Huffy bicycle was removed.

Breaking and entering, 1300 block Sierra Drive, Sept. 19, someone removed a front bedroom window to gain entry to a house. However, nothing was removed.

Breaking and entering, 200 block Grace St., Sept. 19, someone entered a residence through the front door. Four rolls of change totaling $22.50 were removed from a bedroom dresser.

Breaking and entering, 300 block Fuller St., Sept. 19, someone entered a residence by breaking down a front door. Household furniture was dismantled and a firearm was discharged twice.

DISTRICT E

Petty larceny, 7100 block Elmwood Road, Sept. 19, someone removed a Suffolk city decal from a vehicle.

DISTRICT F

Breaking and entering, 2800 block Whitemarsh Road, Sept. 19, someone attempted to gain entry to a residence by prying off a locked door handle on a porch. ILLUSTRATION: CRIME LINE

Suffolk Detective J.K. Cooke is asking for help in locating the

persons responsible for the burglary of a local cabinet shop. On

Sept. 17, unknown persons entered the Allwood Cabinet Corp., 1600

block of Pitchkettle Road in Suffolk.

Thieves removed a Hitachi cordless drill, two Panasonic cordless

drills, a Porter cable cordless drill, a 20 gauge shotgun and a

Winchester 16 gauge single barrel shotgun.
