Shelton R. Clemmer, age 76, of Sun City Center, passed away Oct. 3, 1995 in South Bay Hospital.
He was a native of Ames, Iowa and was a resident of Florida since 1987, coming here from Nags Head, N.C.
Mr. Clemmer was a retired U.S. Army Col., who served in World War II and received a Purple Heart. He was the past president of the Washington Building Congress. Mr. Clemmer retired as sales manager for Martin-Marietta Cement Company in Washington, D.C. He also was a member of St. John the Divine Episcopal Church, Ruskin, Fla.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Helen of Sun City Center, Fla.; a daughter, Susan L. Carlson of San Diego, Calif.; three grandchildren and two great-granchildren. Arrangements were made by Zipperer's Agape Mortuary, Ruskin.
