Undine Brown Mills, 77, of Fredericksburg, died Tuesday, Sept. 26, at Mary Washington Hospital.
Born in La Grange, Ga., Mrs. Mills had retired as a registered nurse from the U.S. Coast Guard Clinic in Washington. She received her nursing degree from Georgia Baptist Hospital School of Nursing.
She was a member of Fredericksburg Baptist Church and the Baraca Bible Class there. She was a member of the Women's Club of Fredericksburg.
Mrs. Mills served as a lieutenant commander in the Navy and was a member of the Retired Officers' Association. She was also a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 3103 in Fredericksburg.
Survivors include her husband, Dawson A. Mills; a daughter, Ethel Undine Mitchell of Fredericksburg; a son, Dawson A. Mills Jr. of Norfolk; and three grandchildren.
A funeral was held at 12:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 29, 1995 at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, Fredericksburg Chapel, with the Rev. J. Larry Haun officiating. Burial will be in Quantico National Cemetery with full military honors.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the Baraca Bible Class at Fredericksburg Baptist Church, 1019 Princess Anne St., Fredericksburg, Va. 22401.
