Andrew ``Carl'' Jackson, 83, of Main Street, died Oct. 4, 1995, in his home.
He was a retired farmer and was a native of Duplin County, N.C. He was a member of Colerain Baptist Church, Colerain, N.C. He was also a member of Wiccacon Masonic Lodge (NU)240.
He is survived by his wife, Annie Newsome Jackson; daughter, Pat J. Daly of Colerain; sisters, Macy Moore of Bowden, N.C., Adell Cottle of Rose Hill, N.C.; brother, Willard Jackson of Rose Hill; and grandchildren, Julie D. Johnson of Lynchburg, Va., Ann Michelle Daly of Raleigh, N.C.
A funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday by the Rev. Shelby Stephens and the Rev. Robert Kelley in Garrett Funeral Home, Ahoskie, N.C. Burial is in Hillcrest Cemetery. The family will be at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Woody Daly, 202 Lazy Hill Dr., Colerain, N.C. Memorial donations may be made to Colerain Rescue Squad, Colerain, N.C. 27924.
