MARION T. BRINN

Marion Ester Lee Tyree Brinn, 83, of the 1900 block of Edgewood Ave., died Oct. 3, 1995, in Norfolk.

Mrs. Brinn, a native of Richmond, Va., was the co-owner and operator with her husband of Brinn's Patent Medicines and Sundries on Bayview Boulevard for 50 years. She was a charter member of Christ United Methodist Church, and Zelicia Ct. of the Ladies Oriental Shrine. She was the last survivor of five children of Walter E. and Minnie Lee Tyree.

Survivors include her husband, Benjamin Franklin Brinn Sr.; one daughter, Barbara Lee Sawyer of Norfolk; one son, Benjamin Franklin Brinn Jr. of Williamsburg; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, by the Rev. Francis Truitt Moody. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. today.
