PEARL M. BYERS

Pearl Malinda Byers, 87, of the 1600 block of Morgans Corner, died Oct. 4, 1995, in an Elizabeth City hospital.

Mrs. Byers, the widow of Jessie Raymond Byers, was a homemaker. She was a native of Mogadore, Ohio.

Survivors include five daughters, Goldie Marie Blondheim of Elizabeth City, Rosie May Parrella of Springhill, Fla., Bessie Louise Byers of Sebring, Fla., Cressie Lucille Roy of Pontiac, Mildred Alberta Drake of Wellsburg, N.Y.; three sons, Edward Earl Byers of Horseheads, N.Y., Albert H. Byers of St. Stark, Fla., Arthur Leroy Byers of Washington State; one sister, Mary Moore LyBrook of Akron, Ohio; one brother, Harry Robert ``Uncle Barney'' Moore of Navarre, Ohio; 22 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and 18 great-great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday in Loving Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Lyle A. Roy. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. today.
