William W. Baker, 82, of the 7000 block of Kirby Crescent, died Oct. 4, 1995, in a local hospital.
Mr. Baker, a retired industrial salesman, worked for Noland Corp. for 45 years. He was born in Norfolk and was a member of Lafayette Presbyterian Church. He was an avid golfer and a member of Sewells Point Golf Course, and Naomi Masonic Lodge (NU)87. He was an Army Air Force veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Sidnia Baker; one daughter, Sidnia Etherington of Norfolk; one son, Brant Baker of Norfolk; and four grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. today in Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, by the Rev. Max G. Culler. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the A/C Fund of Lafayette Presbyterian Church.
