Louise Taylor Cooke, 81, of the 200 block of E. High St., died Oct. 5, 1995, in Roanoke Chowan Hospital.
Mrs. Cooke, a homemaker, was the widow of Dr. Quinton E. Cooke Sr. She was born in Harrisonburg, Va., and was a member of Murfreesboro Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, James Taylor Cooke of Wrightsville Beach and Murfreesboro, Dr. Quinton E. Cooke Jr. of Wilmington, N.C.; three grandchildren, Cathryn Anne Cooke of Wrightsville Beach, Quinton E. Cooke III and Charlotte Reid Cooke both of Raleigh, N.C.; two nieces, Mary Harvey Hinthorne of Lake Oswego, Ore., and Barbara Keffer of Yorktown, Va.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Riverside Cemetery by Dr. Davis Smith. Entombment will be in Riverside Cemetery. Garrett Funeral Home, Murfreesboro, in charge. Memorial donations may be made to a favorite charity.
