Dona C. Minson, 69, of the 5600 block of Tidewater Drive, died Oct. 3, 1995, in Norfolk.
She was a native of Portsmouth and was a Baptist. She was the widow of Joseph Cooper Minson.
Mrs. Minson is survived by five daughters, Patricia A. Eutsler of Newport News, Deborah S. Kokinda of Boca Raton, Fla., Betty Jo Gilbertson of Norfolk, Teresa Marek of Akron, Ohio, Linda McGarth of Virginia Beach; two sons, Tommy L. Minson and Alvin R. Minson, of Norfolk; two sisters, Carrie Twine of Norfolk, and Rosa Warren of Portsmouth; 16 grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be private and at a later date. The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, today from 7:30 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
